Max Sawicky had an unconventional way of becoming a stylist. In 2006 he enrolled in California's Cosmetology Apprenticeship Program; unlike normal beauty school he learned and trained while working behind the chair. He established himself as an assistant stylist underneath a senior stylist at Muse Hairdressing, in downtown Petaluma.
In 2010 Max became fully licensed and has since continued his training through out the hair and fashion world. Using Europe's #1 color line Wella, Max accentuates color and highlight placement with wet and dry cutting techniques, blending every day wear-ability with today's fashion trends.
While not working behind the chair with his clients, Max is attending photoshoots where his hairstyling work has been printed in international high fashion magazines. (Glass Magazine)
Max keeps his inspiration and drive up by working in not only behind the chair at Blush in Petaluma but on location as well. Thus allowing flexibility for his clients needs.
